I haven't been to this spot in a minute and I wanted a burrito so here I am. I came in and ordered their legendary La Joya Super Burrito which is $20, $23 if you get a premium meat. When I used to go here in high school, I remember the huge super burritos only being $7 lol, but I guess inflation had to hit sometime lol. Still regardless, the food here hasn't experienced a drop off in quality especially the burrito. The La Joya super burrito is as long as my forearm lol. It's perfect for 2 people or you can save it for a lunch and dinner. So you're still getting a bang for your buck. The truck is in a small alleyway with limited parking availability, but surprisingly this place wasn't busy when I came. Try it out if you like. :)

Service is quick. Burritos are fairly large and a good portion. Would come back to try the tacos.

Great value! Hard working, efficient, and all around great food. Will definitely return

Always amazing burritos!! We grew up here and every time we come back in town we hit up this food truck!!

My favorite place to go when craving a Carnitas Burrito. That being said everything is good there, but their Carnitas are the BEST in the Bay Area

The food was amazing it hit every time it was not too bad it was a little bit dry. The service was excellent they were super nice and friendly I would recommend it 9 out of 10 The Ambiance was not to bad the food truck was in between two buildings and you eat outside it was alright it was not to bad it smell like trash other than that.

Got into Vallejo pretty late and there weren't many places open. We had a really heavy fried lunch so I really needed something lighter. Saw that this taco truck offered a salad with option to add meat and my bf always loves a quesadilla so we came here. There was a good amount of parking spots available and easy to spot. They are cash only so FYI. I ordered the Joya salad and added carne asada plus an Al pastor and chicken taco. My bf got the carne asada quesadilla and a pastor taco. I was curious about the cabeza and asked the guy taking orders if it was fatty and he was honest that it could be. He was super friendly and accommodating with our order. It took about 10 minutes for our order to be ready and they made sure to ask what salsas we wanted and also included 2 small bags of tortilla chips which was nice. The salad was pretty good and big portion with decent amount of carne asada and avocado. Very good with the verde salsa for me, healthyish option. The tacos were also pretty good, not the best I've ever had being from LA but for the area done well. I had a bite of quesadilla but found it out way too greasy. Wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to come back but if I find myself in the area will definitely come by for the options and portions at a good price.

Come see Selvin at La Joya Taco truck. Super friendly bilingual guy! I came today looking for my favorite breakfast burrito and I was afraid I would be too early because it was 10 o'clock am and most businesses are closed until 11. But they open at 8am. I ordered a delicious breakfast burrito with pastor meat for $9 and it looks like a super burrito, be sure to come here you won't be disappointed! Excellent customer service and delicious affordable food !! Tell Selvin I sent you!!!
